Dave founded Focal Point Landscape in 2008 on the foundation of professional craftsmanship. After working for years in the industry Dave sought to gain more knowledge in Landscape Horticulture and pursued a degree in Environmental Horticulture. After graduating with honors from Dalhousie University (Formerly the Nova Scotia Agricultural College) in 2007 he and his wife Lesley moved back to Fredericton and soon there after Focal Point was born. Dave is a relentless advocate for the horticulture industry and has a passion for hard work, perseverance, and quality workmanship. Outside of Focal Point Dave thoroughly enjoys time spent with his daughter Annie and wife Lesley. He also teaches landscape horticulture for the Red Seal apprenticeship program and serves on the board of directors for Landscape New Brunswick, the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce, and the Construction Association of New Brunswick. In addition to his degree in Environmental Horticulture Dave is a Red Seal Certified Landscape Horticulturist and carries various other industry certification. You will find Dave involved in all aspects of the company from design and estimating to on site installation work and equipment operation.
